An exciting opportunity/vacancy has become available for a Medical Staffing Coordinator to lead in the management of Acute Medicine, Unplanned Care (Cluster 2) Resident Doctor Rota at Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The post holder will also be required to manage the approval and collation of all aspects of doctors' leave, timesheets, and sickness in line with the processes in place. The successful candidate will be expected to provide an efficient and effective service in a pressured environment. The post holder will work closely with the Trust's Senior Management, Medical HR, and other stakeholders for developing and maintaining the Rotas on a daily basis. Main duties of the job

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and proven administrative experience, including keyboard skills and experience of Microsoft Word, Excel, and database systems (Healthroster). Candidates will also need to demonstrate a high degree of attention to detail and have the ability to prioritise their workload in order to meet tight timescales. Previous experience with rota coordination, working within a workforce department, or working with medical staff and doctors is desirable although not essential. Job responsibilities

GCSE Bachelor's Degree Experience

Minimum of 2-year office/administration experience (equivalent of band 3 or above) Experience using electronic rostering application(s) Experience of working in the NHS Skills & Abilities

Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills Able to work to deadlines Excellent organisational skills Able to work in a team, as well as self-directed working Knowledge

Knowledge and understanding of MS Office suite or equivalent Knowledge of Healthroster or Allocate or similar tools Understanding of medical staffing requirements and guidance Disclosure and Barring Service Check
