Group Reporting Manager

Stevenage. About the role There is great scope for this role to be involved in supporting M&A activities and transformation projects and make a real impact in this high-profile role that will have significant exposure to senior management. As the Group Reporting Manager, you'll get the opportunity to:

Review Business Unit performance each accounting period, including continually building and improving the process by which Business Units present and explain periodic results. Take the lead to deliver the Statutory accounts and reporting for the companies in a timely manner. Lead the audit process to deliver the Statutory accounts by acting as point of contact between the auditors and the subsidiaries. Prepare timetables and instructions to the subsidiaries to ensure reporting deadlines are met. Be involved in the implementation and ongoing maintenance of new accounting systems. Deliver adhoc projects to support continuous improvement of the Group's statutory reporting & control function, including liaising with the Group M&A team on significant non-routine transactions. What you'll bring?

Qualified Accountant with relevant post qualification experience. Committed team player with a proven ability to hit deadlines, in a fast-paced environment. Strong technical accounting experience. Strong focus on controls, processes, and continuous improvement. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships and to use these relationships to get results. Ability to challenge senior stakeholders and operate with impact and influence. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience of using Oracle would be advantageous but not essential.
