Job Description:
3D Modelling and Assembly Proficient in creating complex parts and assemblies Simplified block model generation Knowledge of design intent and parametric modelling principles Ability to manage large assemblies efficiently Ability to import or export various file formats Proficiency in sheet metal design Produce detailed 2D drawings with accurate dimensions, tolerances, and annotations (DWG/DXFs) Create designs optimized for manufacturability Awareness of material properties and their implications on design Knowledge of PDM (Product Data Management) systems
Beneficial Skills / Experience:
Problem-Solving Ability to troubleshoot design and manufacturing issues Innovative thinking to deliver cost-effective and efficient designs Collaboration Effective communication in all aspects Willingness to incorporate feedback from customers, suppliers, and other departments Documentation Create clear, comprehensive technical documentation Very good knowledge of IEC and BS EN standards for product design and safety Project Management Ability to manage multiple design projects with competing deadlines Ability to prioritize tasks to meet production and customer schedules
