About the School Manor School, part of the Nene Education Trust, serves a vibrant and diverse community of 1003 students aged 11–19. The school offers a broad curriculum and is committed to providing academic, vocational, and personal development opportunities. Despite recent challenges, the foundations for improvement have been laid, and we are looking for a dynamic leader to drive the transformation. The Challenge Address inconsistencies in curriculum delivery and teaching quality to ensure every pupil achieves their full potential. Enhance support for students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and improve their academic outcomes. Develop and implement robust systems for assessing and addressing gaps in students’ reading and learning. Build a culture of high expectations, encouraging positive behaviour and engagement across the school. Strengthen oversight of alternative provision to ensure it meets the needs of all students. What We’re Looking For A highly experienced leader with a track record of driving significant and sustained school improvement. Expertise in curriculum development, teaching, and learning strategies to achieve exceptional educational outcomes. Strong skills in leading SEND provision and ensuring inclusivity and equity in education. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to engage and inspire staff, students, parents, and the wider community. A resilient, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to manage complex challenges effectively.
