We are currently recruiting for an experienced Technologist to join our office based at London Gateway, Essex on a permanent basis.
Compagnie Fruitiere UK Ltd is a leading produce distributor in the UK, a part of a wider group with over 18,000 employees worldwide. As we work in a fast-paced industry, we require someone who is able to react quickly to changes in a proactive and energetic manner.
The overall purpose of the role will be to assist the Operations, Commercial, Technical and Procurement departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the site Quality Management system
Support and prepare for audits
Manage the internal audit system
Manage and update site documentation
Analyse supplier quality performance
Assist with new customer set ups
Minimum Requirements:
At least three years’ experience in compliance management, with a supplier, customer, working in the food industry
Good knowledge of BRC global standard and HACCP
Highly numerate and computer literate
Ability to interface with people at all levels
Good communication skills and ability to produce detailed reports
Working week:
Monday- Friday/ 1 day working from home
Holidays:
25 days + bank holidays
Salary:
£40-45k depending on experience
