Cardiac Services Manager/Principal Cardiac Physiologist
Salary up to £53,560
Full Time - 37.5 Hours
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Cardiac Physiologist to further the development of the elective cardiology service join a reputable private hospital in Cornwall.
Role
Daily management of the Cardiology Service including managing capacity and demand, and dealing with patient issues. Supporting the non-clinical support staff in booking and arranging appointments, managing stock. Dealing with Consultant queries and supporting the clinical members of the team. Participate in the provision of the full range of cardiac procedures undertaken within the outpatient setting. ECHO accreditation is essential for the role.
Qualifications Professional accreditation with BSE and/or HRUK/IBHRE is a necessity for this role. Previous management experience including managing a team of staff and managing clinical activity.
Desirable Competent in undertaking non-invasive investigations such as stress echo, treadmills, and pacemaker FU including ILR, CRT, ICD and brady devices. Able to support cath lab lists for elective angiography, PCI and device implant/explant.
Skills Able to work under pressure and effectively manage the team as well as working within the team. Confident in communicating across disciplines including consultants. Willing to learn to further develop knowledge and skills.
