A reputable law firm with offices in Lancashire is seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to handle a diverse caseload of both contentious and non-contentious employment matters, representing both respondents and individuals. Key Responsibilities: Handle a full range of employment law issues, including both contentious and non-contentious matters. Provide legal advice and representation to both employers and employees. Draft, review, and negotiate employment contracts, policies, and settlement agreements. Conduct litigation in employment tribunals and courts, including preparing and presenting cases. Advise on disciplinary and grievance procedures, redundancies, TUPE, and discrimination claims. Stay updated on changes in employment legislation and case law to ensure clients receive the best advice. Requirements: Qualified Solicitor with approximately 5 years PQE in employment law. Extensive experience in handling a broad range of employment matters. Strong litigation skills and experience representing clients in tribunals and courts. Excellent communication, negotiation, and client management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proactive approach to case management and problem-solving.
