Performance Marketing Manager - Renewables Sector

West Yorkshire

Salary Guide - £40-£50k

Prosper Recruitment are working in partnership with a leading provider of renewable energy solutions for large commercial projects. Based in Yorkshire, this business has rapidly grown to become a key player in the green energy sector. The ethos of this business is to facilitate the transition to sustainable energy by delivering innovative and efficient solar solutions tailored to their clients' specific needs. As pioneers in the renewable sector, they pride themselves on their commitment to quality, customer service, and environmental integrity. Due to expansion plans, our client is looking to recruit a customer-centric, results-driven Performance Marketing Manager to enhance their marketing campaigns, drive impactful traffic, increase conversion rates, and optimise marketing effectiveness.

As the Performance Marketing Manager, you will lead all day-to-day paid search activities for our client's commercial solar vertical and their business energy switching service, as well as working on other wider marketing initiatives. This role is vital for driving revenue growth across both business verticals, focusing on achieving a strong return on investment through strategic, results-driven campaign management. You will work independently to develop, implement, and optimise performance marketing initiatives, using your expertise to ensure that our marketing spend is strategically invested for maximum impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Paid Search Strategy & Execution:

Lead the creation, execution, and optimisation of high-impact paid search campaigns. This includes crafting persuasive ad copy and creative assets, conducting keyword analysis, selecting relevant audience targeting, and continuously optimising for measurable results and ROI. Data Analysis & Insight:

Use a range of data sources to monitor and analyse paid search performance, and apply insights to drive cost-efficiency and revenue growth. Technical Knowledge:

Bring a technical understanding of paid search platforms-both theoretically (such as ad auction mechanics) and practically (such as Google tracking implementation)-to independently manage and optimise complex campaigns. Broader Marketing Initiatives:

Contribute to wider marketing campaigns beyond paid search, using your expertise to enhance performance across additional marketing channels as needed. Stakeholder Collaboration:

Build and maintain close relationships with senior management and the sales team, regularly updating them on campaign performance, identifying new opportunities, and addressing any challenges. Work together to ensure shared goals and maximise revenue impact. Commercial Focus:

Develop a strong understanding of the commercial drivers behind energy brokerage and solar marketing, and how each initiative impacts overall business performance and ROI. Content Creation & Delivery:

Develop high-quality ad copy, visuals, and other marketing assets under tight deadlines, tailored to engage target audiences and meet campaign objectives. Strategic Problem Solving:

Approach challenges with a creative and commercially minded perspective, adapting strategies as needed to maintain strong performance. Ambition and Drive:

Exhibit a proactive, results-oriented approach, consistently striving to enhance our performance marketing. Process Improvement & Initiative:

Identify and propose enhancements for campaigns and processes, focusing on boosting ROI and scaling performance across all paid channels.

Requirements: Google Ads Expert:

At least 3 years' experience working with Google Ads. Self-Starter:

This role requires independence and confidence in decision-making, with the ability to manage all aspects of paid search campaigns autonomously. Analytical Mindset:

Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data, report on key performance metrics, and drive insights. Copywriter:

Proficient in direct response copywriting. Excellent Communication Skills:

Clear communication for collaborating with sales and other stakeholders, articulating campaign goals and results.

Highly Desirable: Experience implementing SA360 auction time bidding CRO and Analytics knowledge INDAF
