Adheres to standards and operating procedures as outlined in the Casino EVS Manual. Maintain an inspection program for all EVS responsible areas. Be familiar with and ensure safe and proper use of all equipment and chemicals. Maintain a safety program to ensure all Team Members have a safe work environment. Control supplies and inventory in the department. Frequently update yourself on new products and materials for continuous operational improvement. Conduct the approved departmental training program to ensure all Team Members are properly trained to their assigned task. Ensure all Team Member performance appraisals are completed in a timely manner and appropriate feedback is administered. Conduct inspections on all casino and non-gaming EVS areas daily. Fill all reasonable guest requests or place guests in contact with appropriate person for assistance. Adhere to, interpret, support, and explain established company policies and procedures as well as applicable local, state, federal and other regulatory procedures. Address Team Member questions and concerns. Develop, implement, maintain, and monitor an effective team member relations program through effective communication. Hires, trains, coaches, assess and review the job performance of subordinates including both non-exempt and exempt team members. Continue professional development of self and subordinates as well as assist all team members with career planning and counseling as needed. Maintain a high level of professional appearance, demeanor, ethics and image of self and subordinates. Conduct and attend all regular departmental meetings as well as other related meetings. Completes necessary reports in a timely manner to meet deadlines. Ability to adjust or balance the size of staff daily to maximize productivity or control labor costs without sacrificing customer service. Ability to identify circumstances or incidents that require the notification and/or approval of others. Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week, including holidays. All other duties as assigned. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
2-3 yrs. experience or equivalent in custodial trade. High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Must be at least 21 years of age. Certifications, Licenses, and/or Registrations:
Gaming license/registration as required by jurisdiction(s). Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must have knowledge and experience in management/supervision. Must have excellent guest service, interpersonal and organizational skills. Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to communicate with Team members and guests. Ability to successfully fulfill the pre-employment process. Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing. Must possess training and problem-solving skills. Physical Requirements:
Regularly required to see, talk, and hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms; stand and walk. Must occasionally lift to 35 pounds. Frequently required to stoop, crouch, stand, reach or kneel. Ability to work in an environment with moderate to loud noise, bright lights, smoke, and dust.
