We are working with a Principal Contractor who are seeking a Head of HSE to join their team on several frameworks in the Energy sector. As the Head of HSE you will lead a team of SHE Advisors across the UK and report into the SHEQ Director overseeing projects in the Gas network.

Responsibilities: Provide appropriate Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality input into the tender and contract award process Act as a point of contact for advice and expertise on Health & Safety matters to the project teams Provide environmental and sustainability advice and expertise towards meeting targets, metrics and net zero Lead the preparation of accident investigations, to establish root causes and communicate learning points to prevent re-occurence Challenge existing working methods to incoporate good practice during both the design and construction phases Have an in depth knowledge and provide advice on CDM regulation requirements What do we need from you? Experience working in a highly regulated industry - Gas, Rail, Power Overhead Lines Diploma (or equivalent) in Health and Safety or considerable Utilites experience CMIOSH or working towards Current full UK driving license The salary is indicative and based on experience.
