Project Manager - Thurrock My client is a bulk liquid storage provider operating terminals strategically placed across the UK. They currently require a project manager to be based permanently at their site in Grays, Essex. Role: Lead multiple sustaining (M&R) and growth CAPEX projects on terminal assets. Ensure the safe delivery of projects that meet agreed objectives and key results, within authorised budgets and to agreed schedules. Responsible for all stages of development and implementation of several projects and/or engineering works at various locations at any one time. Ensure that all work is safely executed and in full compliance with company standards and UK/European legislation. Ensure compliance with procurement, management of change and commissioning and handover procedures. Ensure engineering and project management procedures are followed. Manage engineering projects as required by the business including; the production of design calculations, drawings, specifications, programmes and budgets, procurement, installation and commissioning. Available on mobile to provide engineering advice 24/7. Attend site out of hours, if available, for critical project activities. Any other tasks that may arise in the day-to-day functionality of this position. Ensure suitable input received from terminal management team for all engineering and maintenance work. Requirements: A relevant engineering degree or similar. External accreditation with a recognised project management methodology (PMP/Prince 2) Experience as a project manager, managing multiple brownfield modification projects on process, chemical or petrochemical and COMAH sites. Experience managing project teams. Salary/Package: 65k-70k per annum DOE. Pension 5% (you) - 9% (employer) 25 days + 8 BHs annual leave increasing by one day per service. Life Assurance x 4 annual salary. Christmas bonus - 1 week salary.
