NOV is looking for a Brand Manager to join their Sales and Marketing team based in Plymouth.

The Brand Manager is responsible for understanding the strategic business needs of the assigned brands, and planning and execution of the marketing and communication activities required.

Primary Responsibilities

Stakeholder Management and Leadership:

Develop trusted relationships with the brand leadership as the go-to strategic marketing partner, provide support, and guidance on solutions, whilst managing expectations. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with leadership in all functional groups to ensure alignment. Collaborate with product line and sales leadership to ensure maximum penetration of market segments. Strategic Marketing:

Plan, execute, measure, and report on the marketing strategy, campaigns, budget, and events for the assigned brands, review quarterly to ensure alignment with business needs, and meaningfulness to the target audience.

Nov Brand Ambassador:

Ensure NOV brand consistency, through visual identity, messaging, and tools. Enhance internal and external perceptions of NOV and assigned brands. Comply with all NOV company and HSE procedures. Work with the legal team to register trademarks as applicable. Maintain a library of trademark specimens for renewal. Also store copies of trademark certificates as they are awarded. Oversee the business unit’s brand store (as applicable). Microenvironment:

Understand target markets, customers and their needs and drivers, and audit competitor content to stay abreast of industry trends. Review data gathered via analytics and other sources to ensure that messaging goals are being met. Prioritize all projects to ensure that work efforts provide maximum positive impact to NOV. Product and system solution marketing - Assess and maintain channels and sales tools required to communicate NOV’s unique offerings in an effective and simple way, identify and prioritise integrated marketing solutions, including but not limited to: Digital – Nov.com website, analytics, webinars, NOV Live, social media (primarily LinkedIn, managed through Hoot-suite), advertising and promotion, presentations, email marketing internally and externally. Traditional – Events (tradeshows, customer events, sponsorships, technical content such as abstracts, presentations, and papers), editorials, articles, display models, giveaways, advertising, and promotion. Collateral – flyers, brochures, data sheets, case histories, in the appropriate language(s). Assets – animations, videos, renders, graphics, photography. Project Management:

Project management for the development of marketing assets, including development approval, proper storage, and distribution of all marketing collateral for the brand. Consistent and thorough project management required through the corporate project management system for requests and bringing deliverables to life. Be the organized, helpful interface between the assigned brand (the requester) and the internal marketing resource (the creators). Please note, a vast amount of the brief and production for content & copy will be your responsibility. Qualifications:

5+ years product marketing, or holding similar responsibilities such as Brand Management, Communications, or other related experience. BA in Marketing or related field. Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills required. Confident content writing and eye for design skills required. Ability to present to audiences at all levels of the organization. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite required, Adobe Creative Suite a plus. Outstanding collaboration and problem-solving skills. Asks good questions to get to the root cause or to analyse the need. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Some travel will be required. Benefits:
