Responsibilities

Manage all depot operations, including sales, inventory management, and customer service. Build and nurture relationships with trade customers to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty. Lead, motivate, and develop your team to achieve performance goals and enhance the customer experience. Implement strategies to improve depot efficiency and profitability while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Analyse sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. Oversee stock levels, order materials, and supervise stock control processes. Prepare and report on the depot’s financial performance, including budgets and forecasts. Skills and experience required

Proven experience as a Branch Manager or in a similar management role within the building supplies or similar industry. Strong knowledge of building materials supplies and an understanding of trade customer needs. Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team. Exceptional organisational and time management abilities. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions to drive business success. Proficient in inventory management and financial reporting.
