Strategic Sourcing Manager
Are you a Strategic Sourcing Manager / Procurement Lead / Purchasing Manager looking for an exciting new role? Can you lead and execute procurement strategy by sourcing, onboarding, and developing a robust international supplier base? Do you have experience in collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders to align supply chain operations with business goals, ensuring quality, compliance, and efficiency?
This is a new role within a growing fresh produce provider in Chichester.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain a world-class supply base by identifying, evaluating, and managing international suppliers. Negotiate cost-effective supplier agreements and monitor performance metrics. Align supply strategies with Commercial, Agronomy, and Genetics teams to ensure demand fulfillment and agronomic standards. Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure supply continuity. Drive efficiency, cost-saving initiatives, and compliance across the supply base. Provide timely updates on supply chain opportunities and challenges to stakeholders.
Qualifications and Skills
5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or agronomy. May currently hold title of Procurement Lead, Strategic Sourcing Manager, Purchasing Manager or similar. Strong negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills. Advanced proficiency in planning software, Excel, and PowerPoint. Fluent in English and Spanish or French; flexibility for travel and working hours. Proven ability to adapt and solve challenges in a dynamic business environment.
