Company Profile: I am looking for a motivated Controls Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing company within the food industry. This role will suit someone who is looking to utilise their skills to help keep a state-of-the-art production facility maintained to a high standard. Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, you will be involved in all aspects of control systems within their operation. With progressive training and development, this company is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team of engineers. Job Roles & Responsibilities: Developing subject matter expertise in Siemens/Schneider PLCs. Providing technical leadership and programming expertise in a professional manner to drive improvements and new developments. Actively contributing to & supporting lead development engineers in continuous improvement & new innovations. Delivering high impact change - be involved in multiple projects that will enhance improvements in technology. Taking ownership of your work to agreed deadlines with internal stakeholders and contractors. Required Skills & Experience: Engineering skills within Controls/PLC's/Automation/HMI's. HNC/HND/Degree - Engineering Related Discipline. Strong Electrical background. Worked previously within a manufacturing environment. Food Industry Background (Advantageous).
