Electrical Installation Engineer
to join their Colchester branch due to the growth of the business. Successful candidates will be responsible for the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems for generator setups, ensuring compliance with all safety standards and regulations. Electrical Installation Engineer Job Overview Install, test, and commission electrical systems and components for generator installations. Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate installation. Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with relevant electrical codes and regulations. Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to deliver projects on time. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for electrical issues. Maintain accurate records of installation activities and equipment used. Electrical Installation Engineer Job Requirements Proven experience as an Electrical Installation Engineer or similar role. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and installation techniques. Relevant qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent). Full driving licence. Electrical Installation Engineer Salary & Benefits Salary: £16 - £20 an hour. Expected hours: 45 - 50 per week plus any overtime required. Holiday Package: 22 days holiday plus 8 days bank holiday paid (after 1 year holiday increases by 1 day per year for every full year completed up to a maximum of 25 days plus 8 days bank holiday).
