Smiths has grown from a single owner-operated plant hire company to a multifaceted group with family values still firmly at the heart of each project undertaken. With depots in Avonmouth, Cardiff, Gloucester, Stonehouse and Tewkesbury we operate predominately across the South-West of England. We specialise in Construction, Waste Management, Plant Hire, Demolition and Transport operations.
What we are looking for:
We are looking for a Trainee to join our Construction team to assist with general day-to-day tasks and assist the Quantity Surveyors and Estimators. We are seeking a driven individual who is looking to progress in the Construction industry. Further training and qualifications can be offered following a successful training period.
Responsibilities for the job role:
General administration support
Download and print tender enquiries
Recording of information, including tenders, project details and contracts
Invoice verification - systematic review and validation of incoming invoices against purchase orders, contracts, and other relevant documentation.
Record transport invoices
Download construction site drawings
Weekly invoicing reports
