Due to company growth, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Multi Skilled Engineer to join our client, a reputable Facilities Maintenance company based in Manchester. You will be responsible for assisting in the operation, maintenance, and repair for one of Manchester's prestigious contemporary office spaces.
Job details: Conduct emergency lighting installations, repairs, and maintenance. Perform L8 water monitoring to ensure regulatory compliance. Service and maintain Air Handling Units (AHUs) and pumps. Undertake minor electrical works and basic plumbing tasks. Conduct BMES interrogations, including control panels. Effectively manage subcontractors on site. Utilize hardware tools and electrical equipment for efficient task completion. Complete electronic and paper records of all tasks carried out and filed in the site log books.
Qualifications / Experience: Apprentice trained (desirable) Qualified to level 3 as a minimum (NVQ/BTEC/ONC) 18th Edition wiring regs Must have previous experience in a similar role Familiarity with BMES systems and control panels Understanding of basic plumbing principles/HVAC systems. Proficiency in using hardware tools and electrical equipment Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team Excellent communication and organisational skills
What's on offer: Salary: £40,000 Shift: Monday to Friday 8:00am - 16:30pm Company uniform Holiday allowance - 31 days (inc statutory) Pension scheme - 5.7% er / 3.3% ee On site parking space
