We are currently recruiting for a Community CAMHS Specialty Doctor position in the Canterbury CAMHS Community Team, based at George Turle House, 54 London Road, Canterbury, CT2 8JY. This is an established, substantive, part-time post - 5 PA with 3.5 DCC and 1.5 SPA. Job responsibilities

You will be expected to: Work as part of multidisciplinary teams providing care to children and young people with mental health needs, across Canterbury. Provide senior medical support to the team, and direct input on clinical cases. Provide guidance and supervision to the team. Work directly with children and young people and their families and liaise with other external CAMHS mental health providers, and acute hospitals. Work alongside the two full-time CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrists within the service. Be responsible for patients allocated to them and will assess, manage, plan, and deliver care. Offer clinical supervision and teaching to the core trainee on placement. Support your peers and the team manager and be an effective team member whilst working on their own initiative. Supervise junior colleagues and liaise with other health and social professionals and agencies. Person Specification

£59,175 to £95,400 a year per annum pro rata
