DAY SHIFT Maintenance Engineer:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with experience gained within manufacturing or a related environment.
Working for a large, multi-site but privately owned family business, you will form an important part of a dedicated site maintenance team based at their Coventry facility.
ROLE
You will cover all aspects of mechanical equipment including gravity and chain conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, and general site-wide maintenance support.
General duties will include:
Reactive and planned maintenance Overhauling equipment Inspections, monitoring plant conditions & reporting defects Identification and implementing improvements Diagnosing and repairing faults as they occur
CANDIDATE Preferably Mechanical qualified, although relevant experience alone can be considered Basic electrical knowledge or skill would be an advantage General welding and fabrication skills 3 years+ within a manufacturing environment
This is a Monday-Friday DAYS role (Flexibility around 8 - 5 / 9 - 6).
Ad-Hoc / Informal support to out-of-hours breakdowns.
