About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tendering Executive to join our dynamic team in the automation and controls sector. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of various fields including SCADA, PLCs, HMIs, RTUs, Panels, Industrial Communication, Cyber Security and Networking. This role requires a proactive individual who is comfortable with tender writing, tender pricing, and conducting site surveys. Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and submit detailed and competitive tenders for automation and control projects. Analyse and interpret technical specifications and requirements. Collaborate with engineering and sales teams to gather necessary information for tender submissions. Develop cost estimates and pricing strategies. Conduct site surveys to gather project-specific information. Manage the ITT (Invitation to Tender) and RFQ (Request for Quotation) processes. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practices. Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations and ensure competitive pricing. Review and negotiate contract terms and conditions with clients and suppliers. Monitor and track tender progress, ensuring deadlines are met. Provide post-tender support and clarification to clients as needed. Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the automation and controls industry. Strong knowledge of SCADA, PLCs, HMIs, RTUs, Panels, Industrial Communication, and Networking. Familiarity with equipment from Siemens, Rockwell (Allen-Bradley), Schneider Electric, Mitsubishi, Omron, etc. Proficiency in MS Office Suite. Background in instrumentation, electrical, or control systems. Valid UK driving license and the right to work in the UK (sponsorship not considered). Must be within travel distance of our Manchester office and prepared to commute. Preferably with an HNC/HND in a Control Systems related field, or a degree in a similar field. Skills and Competencies:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Comfortable with the ITT and RFQ processes. Additional Requirements:

Willingness to travel for site surveys and client meetings.
