We are excited to announce a new opportunity for a Customer Hedging Analyst to join our experienced team. As part of a team of three, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our live market desk is open to customers and that we provide market-leading information and prices.

They are also responsible for publishing industry-leading market reports on time and consolidating key market events and drivers clearly & simply, combining both public and paid market information, as well as in-house research and analytics.

This role is perfect for someone who is keen to pursue a career in the energy sector and wants to gain a strong understanding of the energy market. You will gain valuable experience in understanding energy market dynamics and customer hedging strategies. Role Details:

Salary: £31,017 to £36,410

Bonus: Up to 20%

Location: Redhill

Contract type: Permanent

Working Pattern: Hybrid - Office based 3 days a week after probation

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality market information to customers through various methods, including face-to-face meetings, phone calls, emails, and media.

Monitor and collate real-time energy market information and trading screen prices to manage customer risk tools.

Ensure accuracy in customer transactions and market information, and respond promptly to customer requests.

Publish industry-leading market reports on time and consolidate key market events and drivers clearly & simply, combining both public and paid market information, as well as in-house research and analytics.

Ensure any customer instructions in our systems (lock-ins) and external communications are quickly and accurately recorded, promptly rectifying issues across all levels of the process.

Experience Required:

Research and analysis skills

Able to interact well with customers and well-organized

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Preferably exposure to live commodity markets, particularly power and gas and their drivers.

Preferably experience in a customer-facing role in an energy trading/transaction environment.

Based at the Kingswood Field office KT20 6RP (Tadworth), a 28-acre office campus site set in the Surrey countryside with trail walks. You will enjoy a modern vibrant and friendly working environment.
