Our leading client are looking for an experienced Senior Project Engineer who is ready to make a difference throughout the entire product lifecycle. The successful candidate will join our clients forward-thinking team and play a key role in delivering engineering solutions that meet customer needs and exceed expectations. Key Responsibilities - Senior Project Engineer
Manage all stages of the system lifecycle, including requirements management, validation, system design, development, integration, verification, and qualification. Plan and oversee engineering tasks, ensuring they align with customer requirements and company standards. Translate customer and stakeholder requirements into actionable project solutions. Collaborate with suppliers and customers to ensure the final solution meets expectations. Handle engineering changes, ensuring system integrity throughout the lifecycle and maintaining traceability of key design decisions. Provide support across the entire product lifecycle, delivering fully integrated solutions. Schedule and plan engineering design reviews, coordinating with functions like airworthiness and safety to meet project milestones. Identify and manage technical risks and opportunities that may affect project delivery. Work alongside engineering leadership and programme management to ensure adequate resources and address any capability gaps. Foster continuous improvement and implement effective systems engineering practices. Qualifications & Experience - Senior Project Engineer
A degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical, Fluid, Structures, or a related field) with at least 5 years of relevant experience. Experience in requirements management and verification; familiarity with tools like DOORS or CRADLE is advantageous. Solid background in product development, with a comprehensive understanding of the engineering product lifecycle. Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach. Experience with engineering sign-off for technical documents. Highly motivated and proactive, with a focus on delivering results. Understanding of Systems Engineering Management.
