A really fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic Technical Engineer to carry out installations of our client's class-leading Industrial solutions. Your time will be split mainly between Hinkley Point C, Plymouth and Portsmouth Naval Bases. You will also support the equipment once on site and make sure it meets customer requirements once in use. Training and a company van for business use will be provided. Applications from suitably qualified ex-military personnel (Royal Air Force, Royal Navy, British Army, Royal Marines) will be particularly relevant for this position but other qualified candidates are encouraged to apply. Main Responsibilities: Assist in the installation of technical LEV installations at Hinkley Point C and surrounding areas on all Company equipment types. Some installs require an overnight stay and typically, the installations take no longer than a day and are for hire equipment of a temporary nature. Support the equipment once on site and make sure it meets customer requirements once in use. Liaise with and instruct site agents on the use of equipment. Maintain a high level of site health and safety awareness. Assist in the maintenance and repair of equipment in the 'ready for hire' process. Assist with equipment breakdowns and workshop/warehouse activities at base. Assist with carrying out pre-install site surveys. Assist with carrying out LEV Commissioning reports. Knowledge, Skills and Experience: Minimum 3 years electrical/mechanical engineering experience. Experience in installing, maintaining and repairing electromechanical equipment. Knowledge of ventilation/ductwork an advantage although full training will be given. Good understanding of current health & safety regulations. Good IT skills and communication skills (verbal & written). Excellent interpersonal skills. Previous/current UK security clearance (essential). Full Driving Licence essential.
