About the Role: We are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Engineer with an electrical bias for our client, on a hospital contract. This is a static role, meaning you will work exclusively at this location, ensuring the ongoing maintenance and repair of electrical, mechanical and fabric systems within the hospital's facilities. The role is shift-based, offering a great work-life balance with a rotating schedule.

Key Responsibilities: Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on a wide range of electrical and mechanical systems, including lighting, HVAC, and power distribution. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, adhering to hospital standards and guidelines. Respond to emergency breakdowns and faults, providing quick and effective solutions. Undertake regular inspections and testing of electrical systems to identify potential issues. Work closely with the hospital's facilities team to support day-to-day operations and ensure minimal disruption to critical services. Complete necessary paperwork and reports for maintenance tasks, including risk assessments and service records.

Essential Qualifications & Experience: Electrical qualifications (e.g., 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations, City & Guilds 2360, NVQ Level 3 Electrical or equivalent). Proven experience in a multi-skilled engineering role, with a solid electrical background. Experience of working in a building maintenance role, ideally within a healthcare or similar critical environment. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure. A commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.

Desirable Skills: Experience in a multi-skilled maintenance role - general maintenance & mechanical. Previous experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting. Familiarity with building management systems (BMS).
