BallyCara is looking for our next shining star to join the Residential Care team, located at Scarborough. We can offer four permanent mid-week night shifts a fortnight, 2200 - 0645 (Wednesday, Thursday each week) on a permanent part-time basis. Ideally, you would be able to pick up additional shifts due to staff leave. Enhance your leadership skills by overseeing our resident-focused team. You will be passionate about building meaningful relationships, have problem-solving skills, and deliver high standards for residents’ needs and safety whilst adhering to clinical guidelines, policy and procedures and Aged Care Quality Standards. If you are an experienced Aged Care Registered Nurse who wants to be part of a dedicated team and is ready to support and inspire healthy and happy living, then we want to hear from you! What we are looking for: Bachelor of Nursing qualification with current AHPRA registration Passionate and prior experience in caring for residents in an Australian Aged Care environment Knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards Excellent written and verbal ability to communicate effectively with team members, residents, and their family members in a compassionate and empowering manner Ability to work well with others and a friendly, approachable manner Desirable experience or training in dementia Demonstrated competence in medication management, clinical skills, and documentation A demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement A current CPR and First Aid certificate Have had a minimum of two Covid vaccinations Be willing to submit to a National Police Check Must hold Australian working rights.
