Job Description Our client, a leading global financial institution with a strong presence in leveraged finance, is seeking professionals at the junior and senior associate levels to join their Leveraged Finance team. The team works on a diverse range of transactions, leveraging their deep market expertise and extensive network to structure and execute bespoke financing solutions. This role provides an outstanding opportunity to develop a strong foundation in leveraged finance through hands-on deal experience and interaction with high-profile clients and stakeholders. Job Responsibilities Supporting the origination, structuring, and execution of leveraged finance transactions, including leveraged buyouts, acquisitions, and recapitalisations. Conducting detailed financial and credit analysis, including cash flow modelling, capital structure optimisation, and risk assessment. Preparing high-quality marketing materials, pitch decks, and client presentations to support business development efforts. Assisting in the preparation of credit approval documentation and ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory requirements. Engaging with internal teams, private equity sponsors, and corporate clients to facilitate smooth execution of transactions. Monitoring market trends, deal activity, and competitor performance to support strategic decision-making. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a leading university or institution in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field. Relevant experience in leveraged finance, investment banking, credit analysis, transaction services, or a similar role within financial services. Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with a demonstrated ability to interpret complex financial data. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations to both internal and external stakeholders. Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with financial databases is advantageous. A keen interest in leveraged finance, with an entrepreneurial mindset and commercial awareness.
