Job Description: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – FM Service Provider – Romford, East London – £44,000 per annum
CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to be based in Romford, East London carrying out planned and reactive building maintenance within a large commercial building. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and have a proven track record in mechanical building maintenance.
This position would be ideal for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer currently in a similar position who is keen on progression and looking for a role closer to home. In return, the company are offering a competitive salary of £44,000 with a potential route into further career progression.
Key Duties & Responsibilities Monitor mechanical plant Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Units (Filter changes, cleaning) Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing) Plumbing - Unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washers etc Monitor the BMS systems. Basic electrical duties (Lamp changes etc) General building fabric Escort specialist subcontractors Hours of Work & Package Monday to Friday - 08:00 am – 17:00 pm Basic Salary of £44,000 On Call retainer of £1249.56 Bonus for any AP Duties completed: £500 per duty Call out 1 in 6 on Call week Mon-Sun (rest day Thurs and Friday) 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays Full company uniform Requirements Mechanically qualified - City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates A proven track record in commercial building maintenance Multi-skilled Good communication skills Client Facing Please email your CV to Alex Denton of CBW Staffing Solutions to avoid missing out on this opportunity.
