Overview

We are supporting a well-established, high-tech machinery build company that is currently looking to add a Project Commissioning Engineer to the structure. They specialise in designing and manufacturing bespoke processing capital equipment that is supplied globally and are a dynamic and growing business - this is an opportunity not to be missed! The Role

Reporting directly to the Product Director, as a senior role in the business, you will be responsible for managing the web converting projects through the entire process, from the initial design capability and testing to carrying out showroom demos for the customer and final commissioning. You will work cross-departmentally and be customer-facing, so this role offers a lot of variety. For the right person, this role paves a path for future succession planning progression into Product Management. Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience Experience within the converting/processing machinery sector - wide web converting, from either a machinery manufacturer or the end user Process knowledge of materials - getting tensions correct, solving creasing, speeds, etc. Hands-on commissioning experience of converting machinery Excellent customer-facing skills and professionalism Willingness to travel internationally as required What you will get in return
