The role of the Quality Engineer is to lead and support all customer, regulatory, contractual, and Quality Management System requirements. The role requires experience in managing Aerospace Quality assurance standards and regulatory requirements of AS9100 whilst working with all departments to ensure compliance.

Excellent interpersonal skills together with effective communication skills are an essential part of the role.

Quality Engineer Key Responsibilities:

Support the Quality Management System to ensure compliance with all applicable requirements and customer standards. Knowledge of the NADCAP special process audit procedure. Fully conversant in managing Aerospace Quality assurance standards regulatory requirements AS9100. Carry out First Article Inspection (FAI) activities in accordance with AS9102.

Strong organisation, planning, and action plan capabilities. Ability to manage effectively in a high-pressure environment. Ability to motivate, gain commitments, and hold stakeholders accountable. Proactive with an emphasis on continuous improvement. Highly organised. Excellent communication skills. Problem Solver. Reliable. Enthusiastic with a can-do attitude.

Quality Engineer Qualifications:

Engineering, Mechanical or Technical qualification and/or demonstrable work history within a similar role gained within an Aerospace engineering or manufacturing environment. Auditor qualified to AS9100 (Desired).

Desirable Experience:

Full understanding of Quality requirements and contractual flow downs, in particular AS9100 and AS9102. Extensive knowledge of the Aerospace Industry and can demonstrate expertise in Aerospace systems, products, and procedures.

Package on offer:

Salary: £33,000-£36,000 Negotiable DOE. Pension: 5% min personal contribution, Company contribution of 3%. Annual Leave: 25 days plus 8 BH. Life Insurance: 2 x annual salary Death in Service.
