Medium-sized Main Contractor We're recruiting a Quantity Surveyor to join our client, a medium-sized main contractor. Their current focus is new build and refurbishment projects within the residential sector, with project values ranging up to around £10m. Due to recent success and ongoing expansion, they are now looking to employ a QS to join their team. Their core coverage area is Cambridgeshire & Lincolnshire with some sites further afield; it's predominantly an office-based position with some site visits. Duties
Oversee all aspects of quantity surveying. Lead or participate in client meetings. Prepare financial reports, including monthly Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs). Track project progress and share updates with stakeholders. Review and advise on the suitability of contract documents. Create management reports, including costed risk registers. Work closely with the Contracts Manager. Manage post-contract duties such as variations, final accounts, and dispute resolution. Identify and manage project risks effectively. Collaborate with site teams to resolve issues and perform risk evaluations. Provide cost management support throughout the project lifecycle, from estimates to final accounts. Present reports on project status, finances, and risks. Mentor and guide junior staff. Package
