Mechanical Design Engineer

with a passion for innovative design and engineering excellence? Our company, a premier OEM specializing in special purpose machinery for the food and packaging industry, is looking for a dynamic individual to join our engineering team. Role Overview: As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing mechanical production machinery valued at an average of £50,000 per project. These projects typically span 2 to 8 weeks, offering a variety of challenges and the chance to work on bespoke machinery solutions that are critical to our clients' operations. Key Responsibilities: Design of special purpose machinery for food & packaging industries using

SolidWorks Create detailed 3D models, drawings, and technical specifications Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers and project managers Ensure designs meet client specifications, industry standards, and are cost-effective Oversee the development process from concept to completion Support manufacturing teams with design-related queries What We're Looking For: Degree in Mechanical Engineering

or related field 2-3 years of design experience

in a relevant industry Proficient in SolidWorks

for mechanical design and modeling Experience working on capital equipment projects is highly desirable Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on innovation and efficiency Excellent communication and teamwork abilities What We Offer: Competitive salary:
