Control Systems Senior Software Engineer - 6 Month Contract - Staffordshire - Inside IR35
Our client is recruiting for a Control Systems Senior Software Engineer on a contract basis to support within the renewable power generation and storage industry.
The role:
The successful Control Systems Senior Software Engineer will develop and implement PLC and SCADA systems, working on projects such as system upgrades, system modifications, and new builds.
For this role, you will need to have proven control automation experience.
Please note that this role will involve working hybrid in Staffordshire, in addition to travelling to customer sites.
Key skills and experience for the Control Systems Senior Software Engineer:
Solid experience in Siemens PCS7 Automation Stations
Strong experience in SCADA configuration, with Siemens PCS7 OS
Function Design, System Design, and Test Specifications
Ladder Logic, Functional Block Diagram, Sequential Function Chart, Structured Text
Experience with internal and factory acceptance testing
Writing code to IEC 61131
Leadership of a small project/small team on a project
Experience with Windows Server & Domain configuration would be desirable
Full UK driving license and willingness to travel and work away from home when required
