Description

Credit Controller:

Act as the main point of contact for customer account queries, providing excellent service. Review new and existing accounts for creditworthiness, setting appropriate terms and limits. Effectively manage and collect outstanding customer debts to maximize cash flow while minimizing risk. Reconcile accounts, manage customer portals (EDI), and resolve payment and invoice queries. Produce and distribute customer statements, overdue reminders, and credit hold reports. Proactively monitor high-value invoices and new accounts, escalating issues as needed. Build strong relationships with customers and internal teams to ensure smooth communication. Provide month-end consolidated invoicing and maintain compliance with strict processes.

Profile

Credit Controller:

The ideal candidate will have previous credit control experience, strong organizational and time management skills, and a customer-focused attitude. You'll be proficient in Excel, Outlook, and accounting software, with a problem-solving mindset and the ability to thrive under pressure. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential, along with resilience and a proactive approach to work.
