Travel to various locations across the UK, including England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland. Responsible for:

Achieving specification and project sales, representing the company’s interests in the designated area and territory. Competence: The ideal candidate should possess the following:

Technical Solution Selling:

Significant experience in selling technical solutions to the Civils/Infrastructure and Residential and Commercial sectors. Sector Knowledge:

An excellent understanding of sector needs, structures, key clients, and development programmes that support the sector is required. CPD Delivery:

The ability to deliver CPD presentations to designers and consultant engineers, ensuring the specification of Hydro International’s stormwater products. Sales Development:

Proven ability to manage an area, develop specification sales, build a customer base, and identify new project opportunities. Relationship Building:

Strong skills in developing and maintaining relationships with customers and stakeholders. Self-Motivation:

The ability to manage an area independently, set goals, and drive results. Soft Skills:

Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, with the capacity to work effectively with people from all backgrounds. Experience:

Minimum of 3 years Specification Manager experience. Technical Expertise:

Ideally, the candidate will have a background in engineering, preferably civil engineering, with a solid understanding of technical specifications. Heavy Civil Engineering:

Product experience.

Physical & Other Requirements: Valid Driver’s Licence Passport Key Duties: Formulate and implement a detailed plan to achieve sales within the specification sales area of the UK stormwater division. Achieve the national budget for this sector. Work with Regional Sales Managers to ensure stormwater sales forecasting is accurate and kept up to date. Develop and maintain a robust specification forecast for Hydro’s stormwater technologies. Manage relationships with customers in the area, building partnerships and ensuring customer needs are identified and satisfied. The use and upkeep of Microsoft 365 CRM, along with other project pipeline tools, is essential. Promote the company’s core products and technologies in the territory, identifying specific opportunities, defining customer requirements, and ensuring projects progress smoothly from design to negotiation stage. Collaborate closely with Regional Sales Managers and internal operations teams to deliver a seamless service to customers and drive sales growth. Represent Hydro International at exhibitions, trade shows, and seminars where appropriate. Perform duties in accordance with all relevant legislation, particularly the Health and Safety at Work Act. Apply requirements of BS EN ISO 9001 as appropriate to areas of responsibility. Undertake other duties as reasonably required by the company.
