Build and maintain automation frameworks to enhance testing coverage and reliability. Integrate testing workflows into CI/CD pipelines for efficient development cycles.

Performance Optimisation and Debugging

Troubleshoot real-time performance issues, ensuring seamless memory usage, rendering, and physics functionality. Analyse performance metrics to identify optimisation opportunities and meet project benchmarks.

Development and Collaboration

Design, develop, and optimise applications in Unreal Engine using Blueprints and/or C++. Collaborate with artists, designers, and developers to integrate assets and third-party plugins. Document development workflows, testing strategies, and build configurations to align the team. Contribute to solutions that combine innovation and technical excellence.

What You Bring to the Team

Required Skills and Experience:

4-5+ years of professional experience as an Unreal Engine Developer. Proficiency in Blueprints and/or C++ for development. Hands-on experience with Unreal Engine's QA tools, including the Automation System, Functional Test Framework, and debugging processes. Strong understanding of testing methodologies, performance optimisation, and interactive software best practices. Experience with version control systems such as Git or Perforce. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for testing automation. Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate across disciplines effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience developing for VR/AR applications. Familiarity with shader/material creation and optimisation. Experience scripting with Python for automation tasks. Background in shipping AAA or indie games.
