Wood Transmission & Distribution Ltd UK is looking for Overhead Line (OHL) Design Engineers to join our Engineering team. We are a key player in providing engineering and construction services to the UK transmission and distribution sector, actively contributing to the net zero 2050 initiative. Our secured workstream guarantees long-term opportunities as we deliver essential new build infrastructure in the UK. As a selected ASTI contractor, we are dedicated to enhancing network capacity to support the UK government's 2030 goals and the transition to net zero. This position offers a hybrid work model, allowing flexibility between home and office locations in Glasgow, Horsham, or the Midlands. While we are open to considering other locations, preference will be given to candidates willing to work from our Glasgow office. We are looking for someone skilled in PLS CADD/ Tower and CAD, with a passion for sharing technical ideas and collaborating with our construction team. As a skilled design engineer in the HV OHL sector, you will join our global team and enhance your expertise in HV OHL design, construction, procurement, and consultancy.
