Steps Together Group operate a UK based collection of Private Residential and Outpatient Treatment Services to support adults with Addiction and poor mental health and wellbeing. We are actively seeking a locum/sessional Consultant Psychiatrist for clients at The Chestnuts. The Chestnuts is a 15 bed residential rehabilitation facility located in the quiet rural village of Arnesby, Leicestershire. Our values and approach are really important to us and our work, and we are actively seeking passionate and committed candidates who want to be part of a fun, supportive and professional team of colleagues. Critical to the success of your role is the ability to form a collaborative therapeutic alliance with a client. This will involve you working as part of a multidisciplinary team of professionals. You’ll be expected to take the lead role in establishing the strategic management plan for a client, using your therapeutic skills to involve the patient and develop a constructive pathway to recovery. The successful candidate must: Be a Consultant Psychiatrist, registered with a licence to practice Have knowledge and ideally experience of working with people experiencing problems with substance and/or alcohol misuse Be able to work both remotely and on site at our treatment centres Have emotional resilience and a calm temperament Have outstanding organisational ability and effective decision-making skills The successful candidate will be required to carry out psychological assessments and reviews on both in-patient and out-patient clients who have requested an assessment. This could include assessments for depression, anxiety, stress, Bi-polar, ADHD, Psychosis, EUPD, BPD, PTSD, OCD, Eating disorders and mental and behavioural disorders associated with substance misuse. Assessment payments range from £120.00 - £450.00 depending on the type of assessment required. Benefits
