Permanent - Full Time Job Advert Role Description: We are looking for a Consultant Psychiatrist (Forensic Psychiatry or General Adult Psychiatry) in the York area. Stockton Hall Hospital is a 112-bedded, medium secure hospital in the beautiful City of York. We are an independent sector hospital, exclusively treating NHS patients and working closely with our NHS colleagues to achieve the best outcomes for our patients. We partner with the Humber and North Yorkshire Provider Collaborate as part of the local Integrated Care Board. At Stockton Hall Hospital, we value the contributions of every team member. You will be part of a newly refurbished building on a brand new ward, purpose-built for female secure patients. The caseload is for 12 women, and you will have the full support of the non-medical prescribers and residential doctors providing input and administrative support to assist you in managing these patients. What you need: We are seeking a full-time Consultant Psychiatrist for our medium secure women's service, Stonegate, with 12 women. Fulfil the role of Responsible Clinician to patients. Hold a CCT, or equivalent, in Forensic Psychiatry or General Adult Psychiatry. Meet regulatory requirements, such as GMC registration and revalidation. Have experience working with women in a secure service. Participate in our on-call rota (non-residential). Flexible Working considered (depending on caseload; Consultants carry a full-time equivalent caseload of 12 - 16 patients). Non-residential on-call responsibilities (1:7). Free Parking.
