We are looking for a dedicated

Procurement Manager

to contribute to the continued success of our procurement of goods and services for our club by implementing their experience of procurement, supplier management, negotiation, and strategic thinking. You will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process and managing supplier relationships to optimise cost savings and supplier performance. Who we are

Lead on supplier management

- you will build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers; selecting and managing them based on their performance, reliability, and ability to meet our club's requirements. Champion an efficient procurement process

- you’ll oversee the end-to-end procurement process, streamlining our workflows to improve efficiency and encourage collaborative working. Manage negotiations

- you'll be entrusted to negotiate favourable terms, conditions, and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost savings and secure advantageous agreements. Implement and uphold compliance

- you’ll ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. Provide impactful insights

- you'll proactively analyse data and produce reports and statistics on spending and savings across procurement. Handle risk management

- you’ll attentively identify and mitigate procurement-related risks, such as supply chain disruptions, price fluctuations, and supplier non-compliance. Keep abreast with the industry

- you’ll passionately conduct market research to stay updated on trends, industry regulations, and emerging suppliers to support your informed decisions and identify opportunities for innovation and cost reduction. What we are looking for

Background in a similar procurement environment

- you will have substantial experience in procurement and supplier management across a range of categories and industries, preferably in sports. Credible expertise

- you come with a valid MCIPS designation or are working towards this. Best-in-class communicator

- you pride yourself on your exceptional negotiation and stakeholder management skills and you tailor your tone and style as necessary. Excellent attention to detail

- you've got exceptional administrative and organisational skills and you're able to operate at pace, without compromising on quality and accuracy. Proven problem-solver

- you’re equipped with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with knowledge across relevant industry trends, regulations, and best practices. Confident IT skills

- you will have experience in using a range of procurement software and Microsoft 365 Suite. Why choose us
