to oversee the delivery of a housing development programme, as part of a wider Regeneration scheme. This is a one year initial contract opportunity to lead the strategic delivery of this project. The ambition of this scheme is to deliver
3,000 new homes
- a mix of affordable housing and private rented - over a 10-year period. You will be driving progress and ensuring the development stays on track, within budget, and on schedule. You'll also be responsible for
three Heads of Service
and oversee master planning, governance, and stakeholder engagement in a politically sensitive environment. Key Responsibilities Programme Management:
Oversee the delivery of 3,000 new homes within the agreed 10-year timeline, ensuring alignment with budget and strategic objectives. Master Planning:
Lead on the master planning of the housing programme, ensuring sustainability, community impact, and long-term viability. Leadership:
Direct and manage three Heads of Service to deliver key elements of the project, ensuring collaboration and accountability. Stakeholder Engagement:
Navigate a highly political environment, building strong relationships with elected members, senior officers, and external stakeholders. Governance:
Establish and maintain robust project governance, providing regular updates on progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
