About the job:
Key responsibilities:
Assisting with the end-to-end execution of M&A deals.
Working on multiple transactions and with multiple project teams simultaneously on all aspects of M&A transactions, with a view to developing proficiency in M&A transactions across Europe.
Preparing and coordinating client materials and other relevant advisory tasks, with several opportunities to ‘step up’ and contribute to BBVA’s investment banking franchise.
Team player, motivating and actively participating in the training of the team.
Qualifications:
Ideally 3-5 years of prior experience in an advisory or investment banking role, with a fundamental understanding of the Energy, TMT and/or Infrastructure sectors (Digital infrastructure, Transport, Energy infrastructure), and relevant deal experience highly desirable.
Proven quantitative and analytical skills to develop financial models and valuations with a deep understanding of financial statement analysis.
Highly proficient in financial, valuation, and capital structure analysis.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Fluency in written and oral communications skills in English language.
Knowledge of other European languages beneficial though not strictly mandatory.
