Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust provides the Podiatry Service across North Yorkshire and York area, covering approximately 3000 square miles and provided from over 70 clinical locations. The service is managed in 4 Locality based teams and the role will be supported by the Podiatry team lead and Podiatry Professional Leads. We welcome applications from HCPC registered Podiatrists looking for a band 6 post into a service with a good reputation for quality provision to our patients and good support for staff and career development. Good diagnostic and clinical skills are essential, as well as good organisational and time management skills. You should have the ability to work on your own as well as part of a team. Main duties of the job

This post will be based at White Cross Court, York, a purpose-built Podiatry facility, but the post holder may be expected to work at other locations; therefore, being a car driver or having the ability to travel is essential. On employment, you will commence our Mentorship program, giving you support, mentorship, and supervision from a senior Podiatrist to develop your skills and abilities and become integrated within the team and the allied professions we work alongside. Job responsibilities

To be part of a highly motivated team having at least two years NHS post-registration experience and/or having completed a competency-based programme. To work autonomously or as part of a team, liaising with appropriate members of the Podiatry teams, Primary Health Care teams, and Secondary Health Care teams, particularly in relation to service delivery and patient care. To be responsible for the day-to-day running of own podiatry clinics (in both primary and secondary care settings), hospitals, health centres, GP surgeries, residential and nursing care homes, patient's own homes, and day centres for those with mental and physical impairments. Education and registration

BSc Podiatry HCPC Registration Experience

Two years rounded professional experience, including treatment of the 'at risk' foot, and knowledge and skills in the MSK/Biomechanical field. Experience in mentoring and facilitating Podiatry students. Disclosure and Barring Service Check
