Head of Operations and Quality North West England The role of Head of Operations & Quality has dual core responsibilities:

To lead and manage operational clinical and non-clinical services, ensuring they deliver person-centred, safe and effective care.

To be accountable for clinical leadership and clinical practice across their place of work, ensuring that a robust governance framework is in place to optimise standards, manage risk, and facilitate an open learning culture to support continuous quality improvement.

Job responsibilities Marie Curie is the UK’s leading end-of-life charity. We are the largest non-NHS provider of end-of-life care in the UK, the only provider across all 4 nations, delivering community nursing and hospice care across the country.

Your role in our mission includes:

Leading and managing operational clinical and non-clinical services.

Accountability for clinical leadership and practice.

Providing professional leadership for all non-medical clinical staff across the North West region.

Contract management and service reporting for all commissioned and non-commissioned services.

Working collaboratively with professional and multi-agency groups.

Additional Criteria for Success:

Senior professional with a proven background in managing operational services within a complex health or social care system.

Demonstrable experience in governance/clinical governance, quality, and continuous improvement.

Registered health or social care professional (e.g. Registered Nurse, AHP, Social Worker).

Track record of leading teams to deliver high-quality, safe, patient-centred care.

Hours:

Full time - 35 hours per week

Permanent
