As a Tax Manager you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients, delivering both compliance and advisory services. This role also requires you to oversee the work of a dedicated team of juniors and seniors. Tax Manager Job Overview Compliance:

Prepare and review tax returns for sole traders, partnerships, limited companies, and individuals. Ensure effective work of seniors and juniors, reviewing and signing off on work. Take responsibility for all compliance of a varied portfolio of clients. Ensure all compliance deadlines are met and maintain up-to-date records for HMRC submissions. Stay current with changes in tax legislation and ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws.

Advisory:

Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients, identifying opportunities for tax savings and efficiency. Advise clients on the tax implications of business transactions and financial decisions. Assist with business restructuring and provide guidance on tax-efficient structuring. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their primary point of contact for tax-related matters.

General:

Collaborate with other departments within the firm to deliver integrated services to clients. Mentor and support junior staff members, providing training and development opportunities. Contribute to the firm's business development efforts, including attending networking events and generating new client leads. Continuously seek opportunities to improve internal processes and enhance client service delivery.

Tax Manager Job Requirements ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualified (or equivalent) with a strong background in tax. Will consider ATT or QBE. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a mixed tax role within an accountancy practice. Will accept corporate or personal tax experience. Comprehensive knowledge of UK tax legislation and compliance requirements. Proven experience in providing tax advisory services to owner-managed businesses. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficient in using tax software and Microsoft Office applications. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. High level of professionalism and attention to detail.
