Clinical Lead for Maternal Mental Health Service

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a clinical lead to support the development of a new maternal mental health service across Humber and North Yorkshire. This role will involve leading a small MDT team of therapists to support women with moderate to severe and complex mental health problems stemming from perinatal loss experiences. Main duties of the job

Providing a qualified specialist psychological therapy service to women with moderate to severe and/or complex mental health problems related to their maternity experience. This includes: Providing specialist model-specific psychological assessment and therapy. Clinical supervision, advice, and consultation to colleagues and non-professional carers on psychological aspects of assessment, formulation, care, and treatment. Working as a member of the multi-disciplinary team to ensure high-quality individualized care. About us

Skills and Competencies

Ability to work across organizational boundaries, developing and maintaining multi-professional and multi-agency partnerships. Organizational networking locally, regionally, nationally. Able to demonstrate effective communication skills at all levels. Ability to lead and motivate staff to embrace change. Sound experience/knowledge of Trust policies and procedures. Ability to demonstrate ethical values and attitudes within a culture of equality and diversity. Standard IT skills with working knowledge of IT systems relevant to own area of work. Broad knowledge of Trust policies and procedures. Qualifications and Knowledge

Registered under the NMC or HCPC. Educated to Post Graduate Level or Degree with significant relevant experience. Post graduate qualification in CBT accredited through BABCP. Full understanding of relevant policy, legislation, and their application to clinical and service area. Teaching Qualification. Advanced clinical qualification in CBT, DBT, etc. Experience

Evidence of leadership and organizational development positively impacting service delivery. Experience of successful clinical policy implementation and change. Evidence of sound post-registration professional practice in a community mental health setting. Proven leadership experience at an advanced level creating change within service delivery. Disclosure and Barring Service Check
