EMEA AML Compliance Senior Manager

London Primary role objective: This role informs business leaders and their teams on the processes needed to ensure successful implementation of various initiatives such as products and growth in the EMEA region for CBRE as it relates to AML. The EMEA AML Compliance Sr Manager will support the global AML program for the EMEA region and escalate risks to senior leadership for review/program remediation. The day-to-day operations to support the program include, but are not limited to: Receiving and investigating concerns of suspicious transactions, and filing STRs/SARs, when necessary. Review and evaluate transactions which have been identified as containing a potential AML risk to a person or entity. Manage the regulatory AML exams and reporting to the corresponding government agencies. Identifying, managing, and escalating significant AML risks to the VP of AML and Sanctions, and supporting the remedial actions, where appropriate. Partner with legal and business teams to discuss high-risk items. Identify solutions and controls to help mitigate risks. Support in the completion of risk assessments to identify potential money laundering vulnerabilities within the organization. Ensure adherence to global AML policies and procedures. Qualifications and skills: Hands-on experience in AML compliance. Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), preferred. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
