As Asset Manager of the Octopus Healthcare Fund, you will report to the Deputy Fund Manager and work to enhance the quality and value of our care home portfolio. The remit of this role is broad, and you will sit within the Investment Team to drive performance across the 100+ assets in the Fund, as well as the Impact and Sustainability team as we look to achieve net zero status for all our assets by 2040. You will be part of a team of five investment professionals. The career pathway for this role is exciting with opportunities to develop within real estate investment and asset management, plus Impact & Sustainability. Key Responsibilities:

Drive Fund performance through asset management strategies, utilising strong relationships with the tenants that you’ll quickly build, becoming the trusted, day-to-day first point of contact. Undertake detailed analysis of the assets’ trading performance, managing covenant failures & performance issues as necessary. Assist in sourcing and underwriting investment transactions, contributing to the Fund’s £250m annual deployment target. Work proactively with the Impact and Sustainability Manager to deliver ESG initiatives. Manage the portfolio MRI database. Co-ordinate and manage the annual insurance renewal, rent reviews & building surveys. Qualifications

A genuine interest in healthcare real estate and the significant opportunity it represents. Any experience of the healthcare sector would be an advantage. A healthy level of curiosity! You’ll be someone who asks questions, analyses and challenges processes, embraces opportunities to learn. Good analytical and numerical skills; there is a lot of data to organise and to analyse. This is a key part of the role, and modelling experience will be an advantage. MRICS – minimum one year PQE. Willing to travel throughout the UK to visit stakeholders and undertake inspections. Self-motivated, team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Additional Information
