You will undertake all aspects of the GP role. Your clinics will be a mix of face-to-face appointments, telephone calls, and video calls, if appropriate. You will also undertake home visits and deal with patient tasks, results, referrals, and other paperwork, as required. We have weekly GP meetings to discuss all aspects of the business and any clinical issues we wish to talk about together, as well as regular 1:1 sessions for support and development. All GPs are very approachable and work collaboratively to do the best for our patients providing high-quality care. About us
Quality integrated care and patient well-being is at the heart of everything we do. We are a dynamic, forward-thinking, friendly, and innovative part-dispensing semi-rural GP practice based across 2 sites, one in Robertsbridge and the other in Battle, East Sussex. We have two GP partners, 2 salaried GPs, 3 practice nurses, and a phlebotomist. We have 6,300 patients across the 2 sites. We work on EMIS web and have a good CQC rating with high QOF attainment and very good patient satisfaction coming 3rd out of 157 GP surgeries in Sussex. We are finalizing plans for a new surgery in Robertsbridge in the next 2 years. This will enable us to expand our services, and we would consider any special interests you would like to develop. We currently host medical students and are keen to become a GP training practice once we have new larger premises, if you would like to become involved in this. We work closely with our PCN and are supported by various practitioners working for the PCN, such as clinical pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, first contact physiotherapists, and social prescribers, as well as a nurse practitioner and care coordinator who respond to a large proportion of our engaged e-mail consultations.
