The Role -

As the Head of English, you will: Lead and manage a successful and innovative English department. Drive the development of engaging and challenging schemes of work. Mentor and inspire colleagues to deliver outstanding teaching. Ensure exceptional outcomes for students at KS3, KS4, and KS5. Collaborate with senior leadership to shape the school's vision and ethos.

The Ideal Candidate -

To succeed in this role, you will: Hold QTS and a degree in English or a related field. Be an experienced and successful teacher of English, with a track record of raising student attainment. Have excellent leadership and communication skills. Demonstrate a commitment to nurturing a passion for English in young learners. Be ambitious, forward-thinking, and eager to make a lasting impact.
